Overview
So, you want to play games for a living? Game testing is a serious business with demand for testers capable of testing game consoles like the XBox to computer games such as Half-Life 2. This class is designed to teach a new tester or an experienced tester how to operate effectively in the unique environment of games, including the specialized skills for testing against console companies "technical checklists". You'll be taught PC testing skills, the TRC (Sony), TCR (Microsoft) and Lot Check (Nintendo) test skills. The class also covers the history, skills, problems, hardware issues, reporting issues and tools found in game testing. This is a fast-paced class with lots of hands-on fun.
